Her academic journey began with the renowned German discipline, having studied at a prestigious German private school before going to the university.
She earned her law degree in Costa Rica. She then built a solid career working for over eight years with top-tier law and consultancy firms like Deloitte, gaining invaluable expertise in the legal field and working with international clients.
Adriana moved to Brussels, where, in 2023, she earned her LL.M. in International and European Law, specializing in Data Protection and Digital Regulations. During her three years living in Brussels, she cultivated strong professional networks and since 2024, she contributes by organizing panels for the prestigious Computers, Privacy, and Data Protection (CPDP) Conference, one of Europe’s leading events in the field.
With CIPP/E and CIPM certifications under ISO standard 17024:2012, Adriana is fully equipped to operationalize GDPR compliance and serve as a Data Protection Officer in Europe. Additionally, she understands the different data protection models between Europe and America. Now based in Madrid, Adriana strategically leads Digitus Legal, leveraging Spain’s key role as a gateway between Latin America and Europe. the client’s needs.
